Green Club
Did you know that Moorefield GAA is a Green Club? Earlier this year members of our Executive planted hedging in our wilding area, the area to the side of the floodlit pitch. The Reserve Football Championships are reaching the Semi Finals stage and our Senior Reserve A and Senior Reserve B teams both secured their places in the respective competitions. Hard luck to our Juniors who were defeated by Allenwood in Moorefield on Wednesday evening.
The Minor Hurling Championship reaches the Final stages and our Minor Hurlers who compete as Droichead Nua will face Wolfe Tones on Saturday 11 October
Our Minor Ladies secured their place in the Championship Final when they saw off the challenge of Leixlip. Rheban await the team on Saturday 11 October.
Baby Moores
The Moorefield GAA family is growing!
Congratulations to Senior Footballer Kevin Murnaghan and his partner Lisa on the recent birth of baby Amelia.
Congratulations also to our mentor Joe Connell and his wife Jane on the arrival of Baby Harrison.
Moores On Tour
The countdown is on for our G4MO team who head to New York on 8 October. We are extremely proud of the team who will represent Moorefield and Kildare in the Big Apple.
Also heading for foreign shores is our U16 player Faye Durney, Faye is participating in the Cara Project, based in Kenya which aims to give girls and women a better future. You can help Faye reach her fundraising target here https://gofund.me/19b6f981b
